Jack Jennings

Executive Vice President, Willis Towers Watson

With over forty years of experience, Jack oversees a Willis Towers Watson (www.willistowerswatson.com) risk management practice group which designs and services risk management and insurance programs for noteworthy organizations across the country and around the world.

Jack’s business development experience includes having formed and managed two boutique insurance brokerage and risk services firms, the latter of which was merged in 1998 into what is now Willis Towers Watson. Previously he held various executive and technical positions in the insurance brokerage and risk management fields.

Jack’s corporate risk management expertise includes executive and board-level coaching, strategic planning, multi-party allocation of risk and complex dispute resolution. His insurance expertise includes management and professional liability, distributed insurance programs, alternative risk finance, complex casualty, property, marine, international, political/credit risk and employee benefit programs.

Jack was graduated from St. John’s University School of Risk Management, with a B.B.A. cum laude(Insurance, 1981) and a MBA (Insurance and Risk Management, 1988). Jack holds the following professional designations:

As speaker and author, Jack has offered his expertise on various industry-related topics including preparation of testimony for the United States Senate analyzing the difference in D&O insurance premium spend between private and public companies.

Jack was member of the first Board of Overseers of St. John’s University School of Risk Management and served as President of the school’s Alumni Association. He is now an Adjunct Professor and serves on the school’s Executive Advisory Council. Jack also serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board of The College of Business Administration at Georgia Southern University. Jack was honored to deliver the commencement address at Georgia Southern at the December 2013 graduation ceremony.

Jack served on the Inaugural Advisory Board of the Open Compliance and Ethics Group (http://oceg.org). OCEG is a global nonprofit think tank and community that helps organizations achieve Principled Performance™ by integrating governance, assurance and management of performance, risk, compliance and ethics (GRC).

Jack is the Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of Caring Partners of Morris & Sussex, Inc. (http://caringpartnerscmo.org), a nonprofit Care Management Organization (CMO) dedicated to organizing and coordinating services, resources and supports for children with multiple and complex emotional and behavioral needs.

Jack is a licensed insurance broker for all lines in virtually all jurisdictions in the United States.
